Galatians 6:9 — Do Not Grow Weary in Doing Good Live from our studios in London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Adelaide • Queenstown • Singapore • Denver • Montevideo PERSEVERANCE • HOPE • FAITHFULNESS Good evening, and welcome to DailyPrayer.uk. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. Some days leave us wondering whether our quiet efforts have made any difference at all. We have tried to be patient, shown kindness when it was difficult and continued to do what is right, yet the results seem hidden from view. In those moments, God gently reminds us that faithfulness is never wasted. Seeds planted in love often grow beneath the surface long before they appear in the light. Galatians 6:9 (NIV) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” What an encouraging promise for this evening. The Lord sees every unseen act of compassion, every quiet word of encouragement and every faithful choice made when no one else is watching. His timing is never hurried and His purposes never fail. While we may not yet see the harvest, God continues His faithful work in ways beyond our understanding. So this evening, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ honours every act of faithful love and brings His perfect purposes to fulfilment. Father, thank You that nothing done in Your name is ever overlooked. Thank You that You are always at work, even when we cannot yet see the fruit of our labour, and that Your promises remain trustworthy through every season. Lord Jesus, bless every listener this evening. Bring healing to those who are unwell, encouragement to those who feel unnoticed, renewed strength to those who are growing tired and fresh hope to everyone wondering whether their faithfulness matters. Help us to keep serving with joyful hearts, trusting Your perfect timing. Holy Spirit, strengthen our perseverance, cultivate patience within us and help us continue sowing kindness wherever You place us. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Denver and Montevideo, may every listener finish this day encouraged, knowing that every faithful act is precious in the sight of God. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. There are times when we become deeply aware of our own limitations. We may not have the strength we thought we would have, the answers we hoped to find or the confidence we wish we could hold. Yet the invitation of God is not to stay at a distance until we feel stronger. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The day is gently drawing to a close. There have been moments of joy, moments of challenge and perhaps questions that are still waiting for tomorrow. As evening settles around us, God does not ask us to keep carrying the weight of this day into the night. Instead, He invites us to place everything into His loving hands, allowing His peace to become the final voice we hear before we rest. Psalm 4:8 (NIV) “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” What a beautiful promise to finish this day. While our eyes close in sleep, the Lord remains awake in faithful love. His care does not pause through the night, His mercy does not grow tired and His presence never leaves those who trust in Him. So tonight, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ surrounds us with His perfect peace and watches over us with unfailing love. Adelaide • Queenstown • Singapore • Phoenix • Montevideo FAITHFULNESS • PURPOSE • PEACE Good evening, and welcome to DailyPrayer.uk. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As this day gently settles into evening, it is easy to judge ourselves by what we achieved, what we left unfinished or where we wished we had done better. Yet God’s view of our lives reaches much deeper than a list of accomplishments. He delights in hearts that seek Him, hands that show kindness and lives that quietly reflect His goodness in ordinary moments that often go unnoticed by everyone else. Micah 6:8 (NIV) “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” What a refreshing reminder as the day draws to its close. God is not asking us to prove our worth through endless achievement. He is shaping us into people who love mercy, choose what is right and remain close to Him with humble hearts. Every quiet act of compassion, every gentle word and every faithful decision matters in His Kingdom. So this evening, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ is faithfully transforming us day by day into people who reflect His love. Father, thank You for walking beside us throughout this day. Thank You for every opportunity You gave us to show kindness, every lesson You quietly taught us and every moment Your grace carried us further than we realised.
