Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As a new day begins, many of us are looking ahead with mixed emotions. There may be opportunities waiting for us, responsibilities we cannot avoid or conversations we have been quietly thinking about. Some listeners may even be preparing for the week ahead, wondering what lies around the next corner. Yet before we take another step, God gently reminds us that His presence will always arrive before our fears. We never begin a day that He has not already entered. Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” What a powerful promise to begin this morning. Our courage is not built upon favourable circumstances but upon the faithful presence of God. Wherever this day unfolds, His wisdom will guide us, His grace will sustain us and His love will remain constant. So today, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ walks beside us with unwavering faithfulness and gives us strength for every new beginning. Father, thank You for the gift of this new day. Thank You that You already know every moment before us, every conversation we will have and every opportunity You have prepared in Your perfect wisdom. Lord Jesus, bless every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, courage to those facing uncertainty, wisdom to those making important decisions and fresh hope to everyone who feels overwhelmed. Help us move forward with steady hearts, confident that You are with us in every circumstance. Holy Spirit, strengthen our faith, shape our thoughts with Your truth and help us become a quiet encouragement to everyone we meet today. Across the world, from Sydney to Christchurch, from Singapore to Nashville and São Paulo, may every listener step into this day with renewed courage, knowing that the Lord goes with them wherever they are.
