Mark Twain wrote this letter to his 3-year-old daughter from Santa Claus in 1875. You could say he was over the moon for her: "My Dear Susy Clemens, I have received and read all the letters which you and your little sister have written me . . . . I can read your and your baby sister's jagged and fantastic marks without any trouble at all. Aurelia's Unfortunate Young Man is a short story by Mark Twain, one of the most funny and beloved American authors of all time. Aurelia is engaged to marry a nice young man, but keeps having to postpone as tragedy after tragedy befalls him.
