Sophie Raworth is a BBC journalist and broadcaster who presents BBC One’s flagship evening news bulletins. She joined the BBC as a trainee more than 30 years ago. Sophie started running in her early 40s after doing no exercise for decades. Since then she has run more than 20 marathons and 10 ultra marathons including the 150 mile Marathon des Sables across the Sahara desert. Running on Air is her first book.
