Ron Cantor didn't think he could write. "When I handed in an article in 1991, the editor shredded it to the point that I didn't recognize it as mine when it was published. He might as well have said, 'Dude, you can't write!'" However, when he began to send emails to his friends in the U.S. from Ukraine, where his family had moved, the response was astounding. "I started getting requests from people to be added to my 'list'. I didn't even know I had a list! This was 1998." Since then, he has authored nearly a dozen books. His most recent, “When Shepherds Prey” is his most urgent work, confronting clergy sexual abuse, calling, true New Testament shepherds to protect the sheep. Ron lives with this wife Elana in southern Israel, where they serve on the leadership team of Tiferet Yeshua (The Splender of Jesus), a Hebrew-speaking Messianic congregation. Ron is the president of Shelanu TV—Israel’s only 24/7 Hebrew language gospel channel.
