Rob Jackson is a licensed professional counselor, life coach, author, and speaker who has spent more than forty years helping men and women find integrated healing — spiritually, psychologically, behaviorally, and relationally. He serves as a Counselor and Spokesperson with Focus on the Family’s Counseling Services department and is the founder and lead coach of The Icebergology™ Coaching Academy and host of the Icebergology of Life podcast. Rob holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and specializes in spiritual formation, sexual integrity, marriage, betrayal trauma, and parenting — including the unique challenges facing parents of LGBT-identified children. He has written more than twenty-five articles for Focus on the Family and contributed to three FOF-published books. He has appeared on the Focus on the Family Broadcast with Dr. James Dobson (2013), and will appear along side Jim Daly in fall 2026. His first book, When Grace Meets Conviction: Loving God and Your LGBT Child (Tyndale House / Focus on the Family), offers a grace-filled, biblically grounded framework for Christian parents navigating one of the most challenging conversations of our time. Rob speaks at churches and national conferences on Christian spiritual formation, addiction and recovery, and pastoral care. He and his wife Renee have been married since 1987 and make their home in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
