Nicolò Fraccaroli is an Economist at the World Bank and a Visiting Scholar at Brown University, based in Washington D.C. He grew up in Verona, Italy. Nicolò holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from the London School of Economics. He co-authored "Inflation: A Guide for Users and Losers" (Norton, 2025) with Mark Blyth and "Austerity vs. Stimulus: The Political Future of Economic Recovery" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017) with Robert Skidelsky. He previously worked for the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
