For Loulou Harrington, writing is a reflection of her own passions, beginning at age twelve when she read an old-fashioned western from her father’s library. When the book ended, she stared off into space and said, “I can do that.” And before the summer was over, she was writing a western where her main character was a female masquerading as a male and looking for her father’s killer. By the book’s end she and the cattle drover helping her had fallen in love. A mystery, an adventure, and a romance all in one—and so it began. First published in romance (under a different name,) the lure of mysteries kept calling Loulou away, and so her cozy mystery series Myrtle Grove Garden Club mysteries was born and is continuing. The new Drake’s Rest Inn, a Cozy Paranormal Mystery series set in the islands of the Pacific Northwest, has been added and is also continuing. But what is life without love? Romance series, romance standalones, and even a romantic suspense series. The plot ideas for romances have been building up, demanding to be released, and they have arrived. Because why choose when you can have it all? And if a little mystery creeps in, well, what is life without suspense? Having spent years living on a small 5-acre horse farm, sailing the Caribbean, and traveling the globe, Loulou wants to bring some of these adventures to life in the world of romance and cozy mysteries alike. So, the cozies will continue, and the romances will join them. And so long as the ideas keep coming, and life remains a beautiful adventure, she hopes you will enjoy sharing these worlds with her.
