Kerry Warren is the author of Poetland in Portland, Poltergeist with a Postmark, SOLIN, Unrequia: An Amorate Confession, Monday, The Girl in Locker 118, The Boy from Reel 7, The Girl in Frame 14, The Girl in Frame 9, Recinéma, From Ink to Embers, Ink to Oscar and The Nick The Projectionist and Me. Most of her work weaves love, memory, longing, and even time travel into stories that feel deeply human—because they are. Though she currently resides in Kansas (yes, there’s really no place like home), she’s still dreaming of returning to the East Coast, where the ghosts are louder and the bagels are better. Kerry’s writing is often inspired by a lovable villain who’s never quite left the pages of her heart. If you read closely, you might find him in the margins, the subtext, and the soft ache between lines. She believes stories should feel like confessions, that silence is sometimes the loudest response, and that every writer is just trying to matter to someone—even if only one person. When she’s not writing, Kerry can be found quoting 80s movies, hoarding Coca-Cola, and trying to convince herself that breakfast counts as dinner if it’s eaten dramatically enough.
