Katie Turney is an author from a small town in Arkansas. She discovered her love of reading at a young age, often turning to books as a way to escape and explore worlds beyond her own. That early passion eventually grew into a lifelong love of storytelling. When she isn’t writing, Katie enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and making memories with her dog. Raised in a proudly all-girl family, with four sisters and five nieces, she draws strength and inspiration from the women who have shaped her life. Writing a novel had always been a dream, but it wasn’t until 2025 that Katie finally made the time to pursue it. Guided by faith and determination, she pushed through moments of doubt and the temptation to quit, driven by the belief that this dream had been placed on her heart for a reason. Her perseverance is something she proudly attributes to her grandmother, who helped raise the five girls and whose strength and patience left a lasting mark on her life. Though her grandmother has since passed, Katie continues this journey in her honor, hoping to make her proud with every word she writes.
