WINNER OF TS ELIOT PRIZE & POLARI PRIZE FOR LGBT AUTHORS Joelle Taylor FRSL is the author of four poetry collections, and one novel. C+NTO & Othered Poems won the 2021 T.S Eliot Prize, and the 2022 Polari Book Prize and is currently being adapted for theatre, as well as being featured on Radio Three documentary Butch. C+NTO is translated into both Norwegian and Spanish. Her novel The Night Alphabet was published in Spring of 2024 and was named both a Spectator and Guardian Book of the Year. Her most recent radio programme A Young Girl’s Guide to Horror was broadcast on BBC Radio Four. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, and the 2022 Saboteur Spoken Word Artist of the Year. She was recently honoured with a DIVA Award for Outstanding Contribution to Literature and named in the Guardian’s 2025 Pride Power list. Her new collection Maryville was published by Bloomsbury in the UK and Clemson University Press in the US. Maryville is currently being adapted into a screenplay for television.
