Fabi Santiago is a Latina author and illustrator of children's books. Fabi is the author and illustrator of Tiger in a Tutu, which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. She has also written and illustrated I Really Want that Unicorn, and My Pet T-Rex, among other titles. She was born in sunny Rio, and brought up in the Brazilian countryside. After studying art and design, she went travelling and came across the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art, from where she graduated in 2014. She works from her home studio in London, where she lives with a ginger fellow and their family of cats.
