David Dominé is an author and translator whose books explore subjects ranging from food and architecture to folklore, popular culture, and true crime. His book A Dark Room in Glitter Ball City served as the basis for the HBO documentary series Murder in Glitterball City produced by World of Wonder. In addition to writing, Dominé is the founder of Louisville Historic Tours and a frequent speaker on history, paranormal lore, and culture. His work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and anthologies, and he has been featured in numerous television and documentary productions. He is currently at work on The Curse of Bardstown, an examination of the unsolved murders and disappearances that have troubled one Kentucky community, as well as a mystery series featuring drag queen sleuth Poo Poo Chiffon. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where he continues to write and research the stories that connect history, mystery, and place.
