Daniel Sih is a productivity thought leader and award-winning author who helps busy people make space in the whirlwind of digital life. His work explores how we live and work with greater intentionality in the modern world. His first book, ‘Spacemaker: How to Unplug, Unwind, and Think Clearly in the Digital Age’, won six national and international awards, including the Axiom Business Book Award (USA) for Work-Life Balance and Time Prioritisation in 2023, and the Australian Business Book Award for Personal Development in 2021. In ‘Raising Tech-Healthy Humans: How to Reset Your Children’s Tech Habits and Give Them a Great Start to Life’, which won Best Parenting Book (BIBA Awards 2023), he turns his attention to families navigating the digital world. His latest book, ‘Wise AI: Using Powerful Technology in Deeply Human Ways’, co-authored with Paul Matthews, reframes how busy professionals approach AI, moving beyond speed and activity to create space for deep work, deep thought, deep rest, and deep relationships. He is the co-host of The Spacemakers podcast, a thoughtfully designed pod-course that helps busy leaders keep pace and make space in practical ways. He is a TEDx speaker and shares practical insights through his YouTube channel. Daniel lives in Tasmania, Australia with his wife Kylie and their three children, Naomi, Caleb and Jethro. He keeps fourteen Barnevelder chickens who eat too much grain and lay too few eggs.
