Dan Friedman is an award-winning thriller author who writes about regular people caught in situations they never expected to face. His debut novel, Don’t Dare to Dream, won the Gold Medal in the 2019 Reader’s Favorite International Mystery Book Award. Before writing fiction, Dan worked as a technology journalist and programmer. He holds an MBA and works as a developmental editor, a role that has sharpened his understanding of story structure, pacing, and character. Dan lives with his wife, two children, and their dog.
