Clemons S. Duncan, writing as C.S. Duncan, is a disabled veteran, former U.S. Army helicopter pilot, and children’s book author creating educational books for kids and families. During his 24-year military career, he supported special operations aviation missions, earned the Meritorious Service Medal and Air Medal, and later served as a lead Aircraft Accident Investigator for Naval Air Systems Command. After military service, he became a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and taught aeronautics, aviation safety, and accident investigation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is the creator of Grandpa School, a character-building children’s book series focused on family values and life lessons, and of Aviation for Kids, a 40-lesson STEM curriculum that teaches how airplanes fly, weather, navigation, and aviation careers. His homeschool resources and teaching kits are used nationwide.
