Alah Adams was born in Bluefield, Virginia to Brenda and Carl Adams Jr. He moved to Long Island, New York when he was 12 where he found his love for writing. Alah use to write short stories and rap songs that would later become the foundation for writing novels. Like many youths in the 90's, Alah made a wrong turn and landed in prison for selling narcotics. While he was in prison Alah wrote 7 novels a book for every year he was incarcerated. When he was released in 2005 he started G.U.L.L.Y PUBLICATIONS with money he received from his family. G.U.L.L.Y is an acronym that stands for GODS UNIVERSAL LOVE LIVES IN YOU.
