Oliver Berridge never expected to find himself back in school, but there he stands on Bishop Point University's campus, feeling even more out of place than the first time around. Meeting a young and sassy classmate helps him acclimate, and also ignites an idea to breathe new life into his paranormal blog as a paranormal video channel. And what better way to launch than by filming the opening of an ancient coffin shipped back from Egypt?

Things, however, don't go as planned. The team is sprayed by a mysterious substance and a scroll found alongside the mummy requires urgent translation. Before classes the very next day, Oliver is hauled into the Glenmont police station to answer questions about a gruesome murder. And then another.

With days until Oliver and Dave's wedding, the two race against the clock to prove his innocence, helped by Cody, Demetrius, and the rest of the Parson's Hollow gang. Oliver knows the murders are tied to the coffin opening, but he has no proof, and a Glenmont detective is determined to pin it all on him.
