When he is asked how to be happy, Osho responds by questioning the very logic of the question. How can wanting to be happy ever lead to happiness? Osho springs back and forth between exploring the neurotic American dream of happiness, and describing what it actually takes to be happy.

We all feel sometimes like a stranger to ourselves, with uncomfortable feelings of having lost direction in life, feeling insecure and missing a kind of authenticity and centeredness in life. In a society where ideals of eternal happiness and beauty are dominating our life around the clock and being sad looks like failure.

Being loose and natural will give you a spontaneous awareness, rather than making an effort to reach a certain goal. No effort is going to succeed because the cause of all misery is the doer, the ego, our idea of self. Osho only teaches awareness. Suppression is not the way to buddhahood. Simply relax and be whatsoever you are - and awareness will come by itself.

Yadi aap jivan me atma-kranti chahte hai to apani sari bhulo ka, apni samasyao ka uttardayitva lo. Dusro par dosh madhne se kuch hasil na hoga. Manovigyan aur dharm me yahi phark hai. Manovigyan apani manasikta ke liye dusre ko doshi manta hai, aur dharm svayam ko. Pashchim ahamkar ko majbut karta hai aur purab ahankar ko mitata hai. Yadi tum jimmedar ho to hi vikas ki sambhavna banti hai.

Shreshth vahi hai jo jhuk sakta hai. Is pravachan me Osho ek bahut gahri baat kah rahe hain jo mahtvakanksha ki daud ke viprit hai. Sagar itana virat hai kyoki vah sabse niche hai isaliye har jharna usi me akar girta hai. Purab ne bahut bahut tarah se jhukne ka aur sab kuch pane ka raaj jaan liya hai. Jinhe hinta ki granthi hai ve hi daudte hai.

Shraddha ka sutra jivan me sari sambhavnao ko apne me liye hai. Aamtaur se log sochte hain ki shraddhalu vyakti kamjor hota hai. Bilakul galat baat hai. Shraddhalu hi shaktishali hai, buddhivadi kamjor hota hai kyoki vah har bat ka praman mangta hai.

People are usually very happy, if their prejudices are met with agreement and their expections fulfilled. When you find Osho, a different approach to life is uncovered, as he speaks on something we have always been looking for—a way to be alive. While in the world of literature and film, mad scientists create monsters like "Frankenstein” and almost all religions are promoting skepticism towards science and the fear of manipulating human beings, reality has bypassed such concerns long ago. Osho has a unique view – supporting science, specifically genetic science – but as a conscious science.

The qualities of a seeker of truth are the subject question of this talk by Osho. "Every child is born with an innate search for truth. It is not something learned or adopted later on in life. Truth simply means, 'I am, but I do not know who I am.' And the question is natural - 'I must know the reality of my being. It is not a curiosity.'"

While nonviolence is a philosophy to Mahatma Gandhi; it is not a philosophy to Osho, but an experience. Osho talks about his understanding of reverence for life, he does not use the word non-violence.

Ten talks based on the natural, magical wisdom inherent in the songs of the Bauls of Bengal, those "delicious madmen, mystics, fools and poets". Osho also responds to seekers' questions, and no matter what the question may be, the answers he gives always convey the trust, oneness, and love experienced by the Bauls.
