brilliant banter, debate, balanced views and most importantly accessible. you don't need to be a political bofin to enjoy this. it's clear without fancy phrases and acronyms plus you'll feel smarter at dinner parties or at the pub reciting and debating with friends what's discussed!!

It's balanced and bloody brilliant

A really interesting and enjoyable view of British Politics and World events both past and present. I am over 70 so have lived through some of the topics covered and I learned so much from different angles of each topic. I really took to heart the concerns Rory has about the present day, I am biased though as I was rooting for him to be PM and then Mayor of London I was sorry to see him step back as we need more like him. I must add that I also enjoyed Alistair Campbell too!

Knowledge is power

insightful, considered politics set in a relationship that allows for discourse rather than a win lose contest.

conversations from 2 different poles, always interesting, usually conversational. if I could listen to more podcasts as interesting and informative as The Rest is Politics, would tear up and leave the cesspit that is Twitter. So pleased that Rory now takes a more equal level of content with Alistair Campbell. this might sound trivial, but Rory, has speeded up his conversation and skips through his conversation, rather than having a slow and gravelly voice. A perfect combination of commentator, excellent subject, not necessarily all about politics. As an old hippy might say " keep on truckin." it is a term of endearment!

Gives a different perspective on current events and great insights from people who have been at the heart of government. There is also often an interesting tangent on the international political scene.

Enlightening and entertaining
