  • I'm scared - and how I'm working with it
    Jun 12 2026
Lately, I've been scared. Not scared of the world. Not scared of taking risks. Not even scared of hard work. I've been scared of hearing "no." After a season of pushing, advocating, creating and putting myself out there, I realised my heart was feeling a little tender. And when we're carrying disappointment, rejection or exhaustion, even simple asks can start to feel overwhelming. In this episode, I share what I've been noticing in myself, the fear of asking, why I was retreating instead of reaching out, and the mindset shifts helping me move forward. I also talk about the concept of 100 No's, Shoot Your Shot Wednesday, and how building resilience isn't about becoming fearless. It's about continuing to show up, even when you're scared. And also - learning my own message again of sometimes we have to REST in order to RECEIVE. Rest is also a strategy. These things can all work in together. If you've been holding back, avoiding the ask, or feeling vulnerable after a difficult season, this episode is for you.

  • Six Figures in Sales with Kate Toon
    Jun 5 2026
Who would like six figures in sales right now? Yes please! This week our guest Kate Toon shares everything she knows about sales, and many more wonderful business (and life) insights. So many business owners are brilliant at showing up online and creating content, but when it comes to actually asking for the sale, they freeze. That's where Kate Toon's latest book, Six Figures in Sales, can help. We explore why so many entrepreneurs struggle with selling, how retail has changed Kate's perspective on customer relationships, and the biggest mistakes business owners make when trying to grow revenue. As always, our conversation went on many wonderful tangents as we discussed how we're evolving as entrepenurs. And yes, we are using the word "evolve" over "pivot". If you've ever felt uncomfortable promoting yourself, worried about hearing "no," or wondered why your visibility isn't translating into sales, this episode is packed with practical wisdom and refreshing honesty to help you build your confidence and ask for that sale!

  • Consultant: Identity Shift
    May 29 2026
Who am I now? And what do I actually want to be known for? Existential crisis incoming! Jokes! But I am sharing from a place of processing and letting you in behind the scenes as I'm in transition. And I hope, if you're in the same messy middle - this finds you and you feel very, very seen (or heard, it's a podcast after all!) I’m sharing the identity shift I’ve been moving through, from calling myself a coach to embracing the word consultant, and why that change feels deeply aligned with the work I’m doing today. I talk about the evolution of my personal brand, how I’ve gone from running Lovelly Communications to becoming The Bleisure Coach, and now focusing in on the Retreats side of my business in a consulting capacity, which all contributes to my bleisure life. Also, as you can see, why being multi-passionate can sometimes make it harder for people to describe what you do. This episode was sparked by a powerful realisation during one of my retreats in India, a conversation with my own mentor, and a simple social media question asking people: “How would you describe what I do?” The answers were beautiful, surprising, emotional, and incredibly revealing. If you’ve ever felt like you’re evolving beyond your current title, this episode is for you.
