  • Unboxing My Global Pet Expo Swag Bag + A FurZapper Giveaway!
    Jun 12 2026

Join me for a fun behind-the-scenes look at everything I brought home from this year's Global Pet Expo!

In this episode of The Dog Gone Positive Way, I'm digging through my swag bag and sharing some of the treats, samples, and pet products I picked up from vendors at one of the pet industry's biggest events. From tasty treats to exciting finds, you'll get a firsthand look at what caught my attention on the expo floor.

I also share details about an upcoming FurZapper giveaway and talk about my plans to possibly host my very first live podcast show. Even after years of live radio and television, going live online feels surprisingly intimidating! If you've ever been nervous about trying something new, you're definitely not alone.

As always, I take a moment to recognize Pride Month and remind everyone that hurricane season is officially underway. Whether you have two legs or four, now is the time to start preparing emergency plans and supplies to keep your family safe.

What would you like to see in a future live show? Let me know in the comments, and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss the FurZapper giveaway announcement!

  • The Farmers Dog Review: Digestion Problems, Food Transitions & More
    Jun 3 2026

🐾 In Part 2 of this dog nutrition series, I'm sharing my real-life experience transitioning my dogs to fresh food and some of the challenges we encountered along the way.

One of the biggest lessons? Slow transitions matter.

Tony experienced significant gas. Love also struggled with digestive changes and developed loose stools during the transition. I discuss why these issues can happen, how a dog's digestive system responds to dietary changes, and why gradually introducing a new food is so important.

I also share my thoughts on The Farmer's Dog, including the packaging, meal preparation, and some of the practical realities pet parents may want to consider before making the switch.

In addition to our dog food discussion, I kick off the episode by recognizing Pride Month and sharing exciting news about my recent GoodPup trainer certification. I talk about the course, the testing process, and why I believe the collaboration between Rover and GoodPup is helping put pets first. The certification program is available at no cost and offers a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about positive reinforcement training.

Finally, with hurricane season officially underway, having a plan before a storm arrives can make all the difference.

    Topics Covered:
    🐶 Fresh food transitions
💨 Gas and digestive upset in dogs
    🍽️ The Farmer's Dog review
    📦 Packaging and feeding experience
    🎓 GoodPup certification and coursework
    🐾 Rover & GoodPup partnership
    🌈 Pride Month
🌀 Hurricane preparedness for pet parents

  • Raw vs Air-Dried vs Gently Cooked Dog Food: What’s Best for Your Dog?
    May 28 2026

🐾 Is fresh dog food really healthier? What’s the difference between raw, air-dried, and gently cooked meals for dogs?

In this episode of The Dog Gone Positive Way, we break down some of today’s most talked-about feeding options for dogs — including raw food diets, air-dried food, and gently cooked meals.

I also share my thoughts and experiences with two popular brands:
    • Sundays for Dogs (air-dried food)
    • Ollie (gently cooked fresh food)

    We discuss:
🐶 The pros and cons of different feeding styles
    🥩 Raw feeding considerations
🍲 What “gently cooked” actually means
    🦴 Air-dried food vs kibble
💡 Convenience, nutrition, storage, and cost
🐾 What pet parents should consider before switching foods

Every dog is different, and nutrition should always be individualized to your pet’s needs and discussed with your veterinarian.
