Greg Abbott to pull public safety grants. A local Islamic group had rented out the Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie for its annual Dallas-Fort Worth "Epic Eid" celebration on June 1. Governor Abbott blasted the event, calling the initial "Muslim only" policy "unconstitutional" and "religious discrimination. Also the internet erupts after California Dem Katie Porter on a debate stage admits quiet part out loud on immigration. An estimated 400,000 illegal immigrants entered California from 2021 to 2023 as overall population grew by just 20,000, and a heated debate on finishing the high speed rail in California.
