I only recently discovered Loremen and initially gave it a shot because of ABK being one of the hosts. The first few episodes were entertaining and provided a nice accompaniment for an afternoon nap. But as the series progressed it got increasingly funny and I found myself laughing too much to doze off. As a result, Loremen has now been promoted to “conscious listening” and I’ve been enjoying a couple of episodes most days. King and Shakeshaft present us with a nice mixture of legends, ghost stories and just plain nonsensical gubbins from "olden times", with the occasional guest bringing a tale of their own. What a treat!
