About this listen
Never Done is not a running podcast. It is a record of elite athletes.
Every single one of them.
The person who is severely overweight and walks a quarter mile for the first time is working just as hard as the ultramarathoner pushing from a hundred miles to two hundred and forty. The struggle is not measured in distance or pace or elevation. It is measured in the distance between who you are and who you are becoming. That distance is always the same. It is always hard. And it is always worth it.
The moment you make the decision to move — to lace up, to show up, to go one step further than yesterday — you are an elite athlete. Not someday. Right now. Your mind changes first. Your body follows. That is not motivation. That is physiology.
Wes Green lives in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He runs the trails of the Ouachita Mountains. He records every mile — the breathing, the hills, the hard stretches where words stop coming because the body is using everything it has. He is not ahead of you. He is beside you. Doing the same hard thing.
There is a voice that will always have a reason. Too cold. Too tired. Too busy. Too late. Everyone has it. The people who move anyway are the elite athletes.
Welcome to the team.
Lace up. We are never done.
