    May 5 2026

Welcome back to season 2 of Devo-teas! Today host eden sits down with their friend Luna over some bowls of bi luo chun jasmine green tea to talk a lot about video games: how are they made accessible to players, how does tutorialization work, and what attracts us to different game types. Some other fun things that come up are cheat codes (eden remembered after the fact that the money cheat in Starcraft was, of course, "show me the money"), DePiglio, the podcast Abnormal Mapping (go listen to them!), and achievement hunting.

  • Bonus Episode: Birdsongs and Tea Sounds
    Apr 21 2026

Hi Devo-teas listeners. We're still on a short break between seasons one and two, but in the meantime: my dog Jack passed away last week, and there are few things he liked more than hanging out in the yard and listening to the bird sounds. So here's some bird sounds, recorded in my backyard, on a nice sunny morning last week, alongside the occasional sounds of a few good steeps of tea in Jack's honor. Feel free to kick back and listen, maybe while enjoying your own cup of tea, and think about the world around you. Hear what surrounds us. Feel the breeze on your face. Think a little about life, how it is fleeting, and how we should cherish it.

See you in two weeks for season two.
