Summary

This podcast is our unfiltered, unsolicited take on motherhood. While parenting is often sold as sunshine and rainbows, real life looks more like thunderstorms, emotional tsunamis, and the occasional hurricane, with a rainbow showing up sometimes.

This is for moms who love their kids but also love honest, sarcastic, say-it-out-loud conversations about the chaos, pressure, and unrealistic expectations of motherhood. No perfection. No toxic positivity. The moms who are tired of the “do it all gracefully” narrative. Just real talk, real laughs, and moments that make you say, “Yep, that’s me.”

  • Sleep Time Habits (No Nap Nation)
    May 13 2026

In this episode, we get brutally honest about sleep… or honestly the complete lack of it. At this point, a full night’s rest feels more like a myth parents tell each other to survive.

We’re talking about our own experiences navigating sleep with kids, the different ways we approached bedtime struggles, and the never-ending debate that is co-sleeping. From doing what works for your family to questioning every parenting decision at 2 a.m., we get real about the pressure, exhaustion, and survival mode that comes with motherhood.

And of course, we couldn’t resist throwing in a little Love Is Blind parenting hot take because apparently reality TV parenting opinions are unavoidable.

If you’re tired, overstimulated, and just trying to make it through bedtime with your sanity intact… this episode is for you.

  • The Work Life Balance Myth
    Apr 29 2026

Work-life balance? We discuss who came up with this lie?

In Episode 3 of Chasing Sanity, we’re getting real about the pressure to do it all and somehow do it well. Between work, motherhood, relationships, and everything else on our plates, we’re talking about what balance is supposed to look like versus what it actually feels like day to day.

We get into the idea of “having it all,” why balance looks different for everyone, and what it really takes to set boundaries without feeling guilty right after.

Because somehow we’re expected to show up at work, be present at home, take care of everyone else, and still have something left for ourselves.

So what does balance actually look like? And is it even real, or are we all just figuring it out as we go?

  • Mom Life, But Make It Cultural
    Apr 15 2026

In Episode 2 of Chasing Sanity, we’re unpacking cultural differences in a parenting, because not everybody was raised the same, and it shows up in everything, and we do mean EVERYTHING.

We’re getting into what we were told to do (or absolutely not do) while pregnant, the unspoken rules during the newborn stage, and how different cultures approach rest, support, and who gets access to your child.

We grew up with villages…real ones. Family showed up, stepped in, and had opinions, whether you asked or not. Now, boundaries are louder, support can feel quieter, and somehow expecting a little structure makes you seem like you’re doing too much.

So we’re asking the real questions: what are we keeping, what are we side-eyeing, and what are we not negotiating on?

Honest, funny, and a little triggering…the usual.
