About this listen

Alexander, Lord Burlington, has spent ten months coming to terms with being ghosted by the American he could see having a future with. Not to mention Christmas is the one time of year he hates, so the sooner he can escape Valentine Nook, the better.

Haven Wylder tried to forget her week-long fling with the hot Englishman, something made impossible when two lines flashed at the end of a pregnancy test.

Now she’s grappling with motherhood. Being alone makes it harder and all the more exhausting, but having lost both her parents means she’s determined not to give her daughter the same experience.

She sets out to find the guy who’s taken up way more of her head, and heart, than she intended.

One look at Haven, and Alex casts aside his feelings for Christmas. Instead, he puts his energy into “how to be the best girl dad” and hopes, perhaps, Haven’s sparkle might return. He hasn’t forgotten her smile, the twinkle in her brilliant green eyes, or the way she felt in his arms either.

When he invites them to stay, it’s only a matter of time before the lines are blurred between keeping things platonic and giving in to their undeniable chemistry.

Soon, all that’s left is figuring out how to raise their daughter together from separate sides of the Atlantic.

Haven might have gotten away once, but Alex isn’t making the same mistake twice. He has other plans.

He just needs to convince Haven before she returns to Aspen, and prays she says yes.

I am absolutely loving this series so far, everything about it is just wonderful to me and listening to it was such a pleasure.
The first book was Amazing and you always wonder if the next book would be just as good or a disappointment..But let me tell you Wylder Ranch is bloody Fabulous !!!...What made it even better is the Narration between C.J Bloom and Shane East. Honestly they couldn't have been more perfect,I am a huge fan of both voice actors and I am so glad they were chosen to voice Alex and Haven.
I adore C.J Bloom she is so funny and delivers the funny, sarcastic and exasperated lines hilariously,I just love listening to her.
Shane never performs anything less than 100% and I love how expressive he is.
Both of them combined made this story even better and enhanced everything about the book.
..This is a second chance story..
Alexander Burlington hates the holidays,Christmas brings back painful memories of his father's death.
Haven Wyder lives in Colorado and she is trying to keep her parents Ranch alive..
They spend a whole week together having addictive intimate, steamy times...then they go their seperate ways..Haven stays in Colorado and Alex goes back to England.
10 months later Haven is flying over to England to Valentine Nook in search of Alex along with her baby daughter Everly.Haven is struggling being a new mum and she needs help,it was time to tell Alex he was a father.
LuLu Moore wrote an honest account of being a new Mum and how difficult it is trying to juggle everything..from the sleep depravity to even the thoughts that the baby doesn't like you because they won't feed properly. It felt so authentic and real and I appreciated that.
Obvioulsy Alex is shocked that he is a father but once he gets used to the idea he takes to Fatherhood effortlessly..He quickly falls in love with Everly and finds himself falling in love with Haven too,how will he be able to watch them leave.
He has until Christmas to come to some sort of agreement to co-parent,they live in different countries how can it work?.
There is no doubt that the chemistry and attraction is still there between them and Haven falls for Alex also, watching him with Everly melts your heart,All 3 of them live together and spend time grtting to know one another properly. It was so nice how they open up to eachother and become a little family without even realising it.
Alex has alot of guilt about his Father's death and he never celebrates Christmas because of it,but having Haven and Everly with him they help him participate in Christmas again.
Alex is rather swoony and it was lovely seeing him change..I LOVE the relationship the Burlington's have with one another the brothers and their sister...Their banter is so funny and I CANNOT wait for their stories too.
I LOVE Valentine Nook the small Village in England and all the people who live there it sounds so cute and adorable.
I was thrilled that there was NO 3rd act break-up I don't think my heart could have took it if there was.The ending was so romantic and gorgeous I really enjoyed this festive feel good story,it is brilliant, swoony, steamy and very enjoyable.
5 Star perfection.

AMAZING !!..Loved it.

Format: Audiobook - Dual narration by Shane East and CJ Bloom
Series / Standalone: Interconnected Standalone (The Valentine Nook Chronicles Book 2)
Tropes: Small Town, Second Chance, Secret Baby, Found Family

I absolutely adore this world and the whole vibe of Valentine Nook. The dynamics between this family is everything I love in an interconnected series with siblings. I’ve been waiting for the continuation of Alex and Haven’s story since reading the prequel to the series last year and it lived up to all my expectations. (I do recommend catching the prequel first although it’s not a necessity) These two have a heavy soulmate vibe but the long distance added a layer of angst. I truly don’t know in which direction this was going to go with how they would resolve the issue. I cannot wait for he next book!

What a dynamic narration duo! These two are perfect for a dual-style narration and handled the accent and tone variations flawlessly. I highly recommend catching this series on audio as it’s been an outstanding listening experience!

Audiobook Review:
Narrated by Shane East & CJ Bloom, these two are my favourite couples and they were excellent as always. With the English accent and all the feelings, making them so real.
After the the Novella 'Once Upon A Christmas Tree' I knew Alexander (Lord Burlington) & Haven Wylder's story would be amazing. I would highly recommend you read/listen to that one, as it will help to understand the connection between them and what went down last Christmas.
I loved how Alexander was respectful of the woman he couldn't forget and waited for her, even of she never contacted him back. He was not expecting to see her in Valentine Nook with a beautiful little surprise.
Haven was so real. It was easy connecting with her character. The struggle of Single mum, the doubts, the difficulties and the learning curve. But she didn't give up. Now she saw how the saying 'it takes a village to raise a baby' and was falling for the village and her baby daddy.
Although she was only here for couple of weeks and no falling for Alexander rule, was getting weaker.
The way he stepped up eventually was so sweet and swoony. The spice comes eventually, after being tortured with slow burn. I do however think the Novella was so much more spicy.
Fantastic banter between the siblings and village people.
I love Valentine Nook and it's quirky character. Can't wait for more and Hendrix's story.

Absolutely perfect

One of my favourite books of 2025. Delightful story of a holiday romance , lost for nearly a year Haven travels to Valentine Nook with a secret to tell Alex about their week together.

Their story is one of friends to lovers while both healing from grief of loss of parents with the help of Everly and Alex’s family.

I want to live in Valentine Nook it sounds divine like a lot of quaint English villages.

A must-read for all fans of romance
