i did not think a story about space battles 400 years from now would be relatable, but i thoroughly enjoyed this book and it's setting!

My first book I have listened to on audible that was free as part of the sub. My expectations were pretty low because of this, but this book totally proved me wrong.

As is so important with audiobooks the narration is spot on, a quality performance. The story is fast paced and actually, even then relatively short size of the book all work to its advantage.

Well worth your time.

The characters kept me interested when the narrative occasionally got bogged. It took two or three chapters to hook, but a long car journey or hike will see it jump started, and book two is now on my wish list. Excellent narrator.

I loved everything about this book, from the concept to the characters and newtonion physics. Captain Jacson Wolfe Is a real person with all the flaws that go with that.
