About this listen

Book 6 in the million-copies-sold Black Flagged Series by Wall Street Journal and number-one Amazon best seller Steven Konkoly

Vindicta picks up where Omega ended, pitting General Sanderson's surviving Black Flagged operatives, backed by a motley collection of allies, against a monstrous plot to reshape America in the warped image of a recently elected national populist administration—True America.

With only one shot at stopping conspirators within the administration from permanently altering the future trajectory of the United States for the worse, the Black Flagged crew triggers Vindicta, a daring, multi-pronged operation to put an end to the madness and rot within the True America movement—once and for all.

I have really enjoyed the Black Flag series and this book is good to but the narration really spoiled the book for me.
A camp sounding General Sanderson REALLY 😳

Read the actual book instead

I enjoyed the previous 5 books in the series, but this one didn’t seem to contain the elements of dark humour that the first 5 did and it felt somewhat disjointed. I was also disappointed by the narrator, I much preferred the narrator of the first 5. Other than that is was enjoyable to listen to.

Good but not great

I’m so surprised that when a new narrator takes over a book series they don’t seem to bother to find out how the characters have been portrayed before. There were 5 previous books and listeners build up pictures in their minds of the characters yet this narrator just stomped on them all and changed the whole outlook of the series. It was stilted, hard to connect with and for me ruined the book. It’s not the most deep of series but was enjoyable until now. When you rely on audiobooks the narrator can be as important as the author and this one just didn’t work. Sorry.
