A gripping paranormal thriller set in 1930s Egypt, blending murder mystery, ancient Egyptian mythology, supernatural suspense, archaeology, and gothic atmosphere.

Perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Daphne du Maurier, and stories filled with the mysteries of ancient Egypt.

When Verity Easton travels from England to Egypt with her father – a professor at the British Museum – she is thrust into a dazzling world of tombs, legends, curses, and ancient secrets. Her father has been tasked with uncovering the final resting place of Nefertiti, and for the first time in her life, Verity feels deeply connected to her late Egyptian mother and her ancestral past.

But something deadly is stalking the sands of Egypt.

As a string of brutal murders unfolds around her, Verity discovers that the violence may be tied to forces far older and darker than anyone realizes. Surrounded by danger, ancient power, and deadly secrets, she must uncover the truth before she becomes the next victim.

Rich with immersive historical detail, supernatural mystery, suspense, and emotional depth, Verity Easton is a haunting paranormal murder mystery that transports listeners straight into the heart of 1930s Egypt.

Although Verity Easton is a standalone novel, listeners of Hattie Vavaseur will recognize the cameo appearance of one beloved crossover character.

really liked the first 3/4 of the book but then it just took an odd turn and it felt rushed. everything happened so quickly towards the end that it felt a bit like the Author wasn't quite sure how to end the story. a shame really as the narrator is good and the beginning was very promising

not what I expected
