Summary

Titan's revolution is coming. All it needs is one final spark.

After decades hunting wanted offworlders throughout the solar system, Corporate Bounty Hunter Malcolm Graves doesn't bother asking questions. So long as the pay is right, he's the man for the job. And he always works alone.

But when a high-profile bombing on Earth has Pervenio Corp clamoring for answers, they force him to team up with a strange, cyber-augmented partner. A young man more interested in statistics than instinct. Their assignment: Track down a suspected group of extremists from Titan who will go to any length to free their moon from the grip of Earth's corporations.

Heading into hostile territory, Malcolm will have to use everything he's learned to stay alive. But he soon realizes the situation on the ground is much more complex than he anticipated...and much more personal.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a good blend of real science and fantasy. This book is definitely worth a read!!

interesting idea, intelligently portrayed.

There is nothing new in this book, it is a tale told many times and in many genres, what lifts it is the narration, it’s takes it from being mediocre and mundane to one that comes alive with RC Brays excellent story telling

Great narration, good story

Set some 300 years in a future where Earth survived an asteroid strike and humanity has started to colonise the solar system, while also sending out interstellar colony ships, Titanborn looks at some political and economic issues facing humanity, and the events that follow after a terrorist attack. This one hooked me from the start and took me on a great journey across the solar system while delivering a thoroughly entertaining story. I'll definitely be checking out the sequels.

Interesting, entertaining, and enjoyable

In a different lifetime humanties corporations control the future of the human race after a near extinction event has shaped the course of the human race.
But its the all too human natures of the rich and poor that make this such an enticing story and allows for the purpose of our MC a "Collector. "
sedition and terrorism force a new political battle for survival between an oppressed people and a greedy corporation that employees out MC.
Heavy on the grit and world weariness of the Collectors way of life ,and given the loss of Humanity he once owned his portrayal as a jaded bounty hunter type ( think Blade Runner) then you can imagine the life and scenes involved. This like the Film is a bit light on the intricate tech anf past but focuses on the Hunt and the MCs feelings and thoughts during this instead.
This may not suit everyone but as the cover suggest is heavy on the characters development with a few sarcastic comments and dry wit which does give the talented narrator quite a bit to play with.
Given the number of times I have read this as a book including the latest release this still makes for a good listen.
Using RC Brat to do this works very well as he is a talented narrator and he is suited to this role immensely. The females could be a bit better but the play between an assigned trainee and himself is great.
This is a worthwhile listen which is sure to make me check out further upcoming stories.

Gritty Narration at its Best
