A fiery and fabulous romance, the sparks fly off the page!
This is Beth O'Leary at the height of her powers. Hypnotically good, fresh, fun and moving, with one-liners that made my sides hurt, characters I want to take out to dinner, and one of the best endings I've read in some time. This is not just a great rom com, this is a Beth O'Leary rom com, and in my opinion there is no better writer out there

I loved the story. Beth never fails to write a great book. I really enjoyed the female narration by Jessie, unfortunately the Lucas narration was hard to hear clearly, when he did voices from other characters it was fine but the Lucas narration was muffled and difficult to understand. Such a shame. I’m glad I persevered as I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great story. Struggled with narration

I was excited for this as Beth O Leary is the only chick lit author I have been able to stomach and I enjoyed her previous books..this was pretty shallow and horrendously predictable, which is to be expected but in such a boring way really..no real climax, no real humour, just a bit bland. Feel bad being negative because I liked the previous 3 books.

Not as good as Beth O Leary's previous

I loved this book! It's a perfect rom-com with a great plot and cast of characters. The story of the characters and the hotel were perfectly woven to a brilliant conclusion. I didn't want it to end. I soon got used to Lucas's strong accent and found it added to the authenticity of the narration. Jesse and Lino did a great portrayal.

Thank you, Beth, for another truly immense book! You own the title 'Queen of Rom-Com'

My favourite Beth O'Leary book!

The male narrator was flat and I know his character is supposed to be blunt, but what bugged me the most was the smacking of the mouth and breathing from his sections. I found myself cringing from the noises and it drove me insane. The female was fine. The book was a good book, but overall it was hardwork to listen tom

I got there in the end
