Summary

A little quaint and old fashioned. Nothing too horrid. An interesting story idea although more show than tell would have been good. Men narrating women's voices always funny. I wanted to listen to the end and would try others by this author.

Helen McInnes’ stories always have some drama and intricate plotting. This one was not improved by the narration, which was harsh, monologue, and made it difficult to distinguish between characters. This series of recordings is disappointing because of the narration-I would have returned it if I could
