I enjoyed the fact that he put the listener in the driving seat when exploring the very big and the very small.

It walks for me the perfect line between pushing the limits of what my brain can understand whilst entertaining and explaining hugely complicated concepts in a language we call all access - wonderful

To me the best science book ever written

It can't be easy to present and explain such advanced concepts but the author has made an excellent job of doing so.

It would be overly harsh to discount 1 star but the clunky interuptions announcing and completing the large number of footnotes really started to grate. Let me give it 4.9 out of 5 instead.
