Yet another great chapter in the lives of Howie’s crew. Brilliantly narrated, gripping storyline. Highly recommended for lovers of apocalyptic tales.

My favourite series of all time

I love RR Heywood's characters. They're vivid and rich and provoke an emotional response. This story focuses on Lily at the fort and her struggles to make it safe. There are new characters that I found frustrating and even infuriating, and others I downright detested. But there are others who I really liked and was happy to see join the fort.
I missed Howie and his group though, which is why this only got 4 stars.

This one was a different pace, but I love it. It reflects on humanity quiet well it was interesting to here about the "little battles" being fought to keep the Fort going

Another amazing addition to this long saga. I need more. Throughly enjoyed this alternative take on the story. If you want a series to get stuck into then this is a MUST!!!!
