I want to give specific credit to the narration because I do not think the program would work half as well with a different voice. There is a warmth and steadiness to the delivery that makes hypnosis feel completely accessible rather than strange or theatrical. During the guided sessions the pacing does a great deal of the work for you by creating the conditions for genuine relaxation before the suggestions begin.
I have tried other hypnosis recordings and they have tended to feel either too intense or too passive. This one finds exactly the right register. The Night Sounds for Integration bonus in particular benefits enormously from the quality of the narration.
I would recommend this specifically as an audiobook rather than a written text for that reason.

I had been using the rest of the program for about six weeks before I gave Part 5 a proper chance. Chapter Eleven's explanation of the distinction between affirmations and afformations and why the difference matters was genuinely new and useful information. The Affirmations for Confidence and Body Love session was the most personally moving thing in the entire program.
I had never approached my body with anything resembling love or appreciation before.

The Strengthen and Adjust the Band session from Part 3 is the one I return to most frequently. The Virtual Band Installation creates the initial change in how much you want to eat but this session allows you to refine and reinforce that change as your patterns evolve. Returning to it weekly has kept the effects consistent in a way that has surprised me.
I had expected the effects to fade over time. They have not.
