This was exactly what I hoped for.. v much not a salacious retelling of an extremely unpleasant set of murders but rather the social history of the era in which the crimes took place and the effects of class, race, gender and media portrayal on them.

Wow what an indepth account,beautifully narrated! i really enjoyed every second of this incredible book. i also learned so many details i never knew about the vile serial killer Reg Christie. I have much adoration for this author,the book was so well written and flowed so smoothly. Absolutely wonderful read!
