This was such an engaging, atmospheric audiobook! The author does an incredible job setting the scene, from the stormy coastline where Jack works to the "glorious organized chaos" of Elena's bookshop, The Salty Page. I was immediately hooked when that mysterious 1898 journal washed up on the shore, and the plot moved fast once they discovered the coded messages and the bioluminescent secret. Jack's rugged, quiet intensity and Elena's determined scholar's mind make them a fantastic team to follow.
