Most relevant
overall i enjoyed this book and i have been a fan of the author for some time. There were parts of the plot that i found a bit implausible but overall i enjoyed the book.

Didn't enjoy this as much as the others I've listened to and wish it was a different narrator, but was OK.

A bit confusing

The usual good characterisation and plot, but the way in which the undercover character was outed was disappointing. The mistake made was not one that someone of her calibre would have made and was obviously going to lead to her discovery. Hence not plausible and spoiled the ending for me.

Disappointing towards the end

I started listening on a walk up the Brecon Beacons the walk went by so quickly listening to the story and its pace. The characters so believable the plot so intertwined .
Val has my admiration for yet another great book.

Couldn't stop listening to this book. Great character descriptions with 2 storylines running parallel.
Managed to convey the depth of violence, emotion and trauma but without being too explicit and gratuitous - for me, this was appreciated.
Such a talented author, thank you Val!
