Would you consider the audio edition of The Enchanted Wood to be better than the print version?
No, there is always merit to reading stories yourself and making the characters your ownWho was your favorite character and why?
Love them all for nostalgic reasons, though they aren't actually always very nice people... I found the children, and even the 'adults' Silky, Moonface and Saucean Man to be really mean at times. Especially to Connie in The Folk of The Faraway Tree, who yes, was annoying, but realistically not as unpleasant or arrogant as the others!Would you listen to another book narrated by Kate Winslet?
I have downloaded and listened to this series, but I dont know about any others. Kate was very good and I liked the way she portrayed most of the characters, but it was odd listening to someone so familiar. Think i prefer unknowns, or the ones that do it very well (Stephen Fry for eg)Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
To annoyance yes.. Why on earth were the names changed from Bessie and Fanny to Beth and Franny?? I found that very odd, and a weird insult to the original tale by Enid Blyton.Childhood memories!
