Summary

I loved every sentence , every chapter and for 5 days I devoured this stunning book and became part of the world that was Camelot. Enthralled by the characters and the bewitching soft voice of Gemma , the sublime atmospheric story by Sophie drew me into this other world. I was lost in this enchanting story.

If you’re looking to get utterly lost in the mists of Avalon and the stone halls of Camelot, Sophie Keeton’s Morgan le Fay trilogy is a must-read (and must-listen) masterpiece of "fantasy fantastic."
Keeton doesn’t just retell the Arthurian legends; she breathes fresh, vibrant life into them. The series is exceptionally well-written, stripping away the dusty tropes to focus on a Morgan who is complex, powerful, and deeply human. Whether she is navigating the dangerous politics of the court or mastering the ancient arts, you are right there with her.
The atmosphere is where these books truly shine. Between the clashing steel of knightly duels and the ethereal, shimmering presence of Old Magic, Keeton creates an immersive world that is impossible to leave. It’s the kind of storytelling that makes the real world fade away, replaced by the damp forests of Britain and the high stakes of a kingdom in flux.
For those who prefer audiobooks, the series is beautifully narrated. The performance captures the lyrical quality of the prose, making the "magical world of Camelot" feel visceral and immediate. Enjoyed every minute, Morgan is one of my all time favourite characters. I love her story arc, will definitely be back to re listen to them all.
