I found the mum a bit annoying but overall really enjoyed the story. I’d listen to this author again. I didn’t see the twist coming.

Not every mother instinctively knows what to do—and with today’s pressures to keep your job, run a household, and raise a child, it’s inevitable that something might eventually slip.

For Alex, the turning point comes at her best friend’s wedding. When she believes the other bridesmaids are watching her daughter—the flower girl—she lets herself unwind, only to return and find her child missing. The event triggers years spent unravelling the painful mystery of her daughter’s disappearance.

Having faced a similar situation myself, I can attest that Stimson and Eyre perfectly capture the emotional turmoil.

This family’s ordeal is so moving that even the hardest of hearts will reach for the tissues.

The authors skillfully weave plot twists and dead ends, keeping you guessing until the end—hold on tight, it’s a fantastic read.
