I listened to this as something completely different between heavier books - loved it! The voice actors did a great job of playing Dana and Vlad.

Space Vampire is part of the Scared Sexy collection. It follows Dana, a human left behind on a deserted space station, and Vlad, a genetically engineered vampire clone who’s finally broken free. What starts as survival quickly turns into connection, with spice, eerie atmosphere, and Ruby Dixon’s signature mix of humour and heat.
This is my favourite so far in the series. For such a short story, it packed a lot in, with fast pacing, a unique setup, and a romance that felt both fun and steamy. The duet audio narration by Beth Roeg and Ryan West was excellent, really bringing out the spark between Dana and Vlad and making the story even more engaging.
Overall, a quick, entertaining read with just the right balance of spooky and sexy.

I really enjoyed the story, it was different to the other alien books I’ve read and I found quite fascinating and quick to listen to so I would recommend it as a last minute read before bed.
