The dialogue was a little cliché, but the attention to small realistic details in what is going on around them brought the scenes to life. The performance of the narrators was excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyable

The strong is intended to be a sweet Christmas romance and ticks all the boxes. Production value on the narration and sound effects was Betty good.

Unfortunately I really disliked the main character and I could not understand what the male character actually saw in her. She spends a good part of the story whining and then let’s down people who are waiting for her. Not my cup of tea at all.

Struggled with the main character

This is a well-crafted story from the Christmas collection, with fascinating factual details about cities and traditions that add depth to the narrative.
One clarification for readers: Finland, though often associated with Scandinavia, is actually part of the Nordic countries, not Scandinavia.

An Enjoyable Short Listen
