A hero, despite being a killer, I want him to win - his being on the side of 'good'. it's a great way to express metaphorically kill people I/you'd like to - but won't!

Narration not good but better when sped up a bit - I used 1.1 speed. it's still a bit staccato but more in tune with the genre.

Engaging 'anti hero ' narration a bit boring

I am enjoying the North series, but the narration of this one has led me to abandon it for the Kindle version. The narrator has a rather staccato delivery, does not know how to pronounce "mulish" and can't distinguish "invalided" from invalidated". Very irritating. Otherwise I thoroughly recommend the series.
