I enjoyed the first audiobook in the series and had looked forward to listening to this one as well but was very disappointed. There was far too much discussion about vampire lore and not enough action. I did not connect to the story on an emotional level and am not sure how much this was to do with the story itself and how much to the monotone narration.

I found it boring.

Love the continuation from the first book although the narrator sounded more like a robot in the speech and a person needed more emotion from the narrator. Apart from that really enjoyed the storyline.
