Hugely enjoyable read (so to speak). Twists and turns that immerse you in the seedy world of cultists in the 40k diegesis.

A brilliant ending to a captivating tale!

Another great Ravenor story, but the ending is a little brisk. If you like Eisenhorn, you will like this series.

Great, but a bad ending...

Abnett does a great job finishing off the series with this book. It is well written, well thought out and really well executed. Probably the best in the series if I am being honest. Nothing too fancy but it just all comes together nicely.

Although there are no major twists, the story does wind along in unexpected ways and keeps you engaged with plenty of well thought out plot devices. Plenty of action and and good dialogue, along with further fleshing out all the main characters. It is the first of the series to really delve into the inner thinking of the antagonist, Zygmund Molotch.

Needless to say, Longworth does a stellar job narrating.

If you enjoyed the 1st two books the you will no doubt love this instalment.

A well put together sci-fi story
