The narrator(s) brought so much depth to every character. Each emotion—fear, urgency, determination—came through so clearly that I felt fully immersed in Rylee’s journey. The pacing was excellent, especially during the high-stakes moments, and it kept me hooked from start to finish.
What stood out the most was how the tension translated through the performance. The intense scenes felt sharper, and the quieter, emotional moments carried real weight. It made the twists even more impactful and the story even harder to pause.
The character voices were distinct and easy to follow, which made the listening experience smooth and engaging. I especially loved how the narrator captured Rylee’s strength and resilience—it added so much to the overall experience.

The plot thickens
Alex the werewolf is still my favourite character - his innocence is just so sweet
Rylee is on a job over the pond this time and someone is stealing kids out of the hospital.
We meet a number of different supernatural beings in book 3, it’s great to see how this universe is evolving
