I could not emphasise with the FMC. She was so very childish, no common sense at all and acting as a teenager at every turn. It became annoying very fast!

I was a bit hesitant starting the latest in the series after reading the reviews (negative comments stuck in my mind). As I have listened to the series so far and enjoyed it, I decided to listen. Cannot agree as I found the story entertaining and Tara's antics funny 🚁. Two souls with past trauma find each other but afraid. Loved the bonus at the end, made me laugh out loud 🤣

Could barely get to the end of this book. Just awful! Not a great fan of the female narrator Allyson Vollar in this series of books, but have quite enjoyed some of the other books by Neva Altai because of the more appealing characters and the storylines.
However the character Tara is beyond reasonable and irritating. Her childishness goes on and on for too long. Although fiction, it’s just too unrealistic that anyone would put up with her behaviour. It becomes unbearable to listen to her antics and consistent whining. Not the usual comedic writing when the couples are bantering from the other books. Too long a listen when not enjoying. Sorry I wasted a credit on this one. Will have to think carefully about future audiobooks by this author.
ps: Have to say Bonus Scene’s 2 and 3 better than the entire book 😂👍
